3. Click Next after you create all of the relationships that you need, as shown in
Figure 10-17.

4. In the next window, select one FlashCopy preset. The GUI provides the following presets
to simplify common FlashCopy operations.
– Snapshot: Creates a copy-on-write point-in-time copy.
– Clone: Creates a replica of the source volume on a target volume. The copy can be
changed without affecting the original volume.
– Backup: Creates a FlashCopy mapping that can be used to recover data or objects if
the system experiences data loss. These backups can be copied multiple times from
source and target volumes.
