■ Operating mode selection
SSB (USB/LSB), SSB data (USB data/LSB data),
CW, CW reverse (CW-R), RTTY, RTTY reverse
(RTTY-R), PSK, PSK reverse (PSK-R), AM, AM data,
FM and FM data modes are selectable in the IC-7700.
Select the desired operation mode as follows.
To select a mode of operation, push the desired mode
switch momentarily. Push the switch again to toggle
between USB and LSB, CW and CW-R, RTTY/RTTY-
R and PSK/PSK-R, AM and FM, if desired. Hold down
the switch for 1 second to toggle between RTTY and
RTTY-R, PSK and PSK-R, if desired.
See the diagram below left for the order of selection.
Microphone signals are muted when data mode is
selected.
