Process data
76 Operating and Programming
8 Process data
The process data is divided into two parts: the process image of the inputs and the process image
of the outputs.
The addresses given in this chapter are to be understood as an offset to the start addresses
specified in the configuration of the PLC.
8.1 Process image of the inputs
The process image of the inputs is divided into four parts:
Sensors
Digital I/O
Motor State
Additional signals
Sensors
The information on the switching states of the sensors is located in the first BYTE of the process
image. The first four bits include the physical state of the inputs Sensor 1 to Sensor 4, depending
on the set configuration PNP / NPN and positive or negative polarity.
The inputs Sensor 5 to Sensor 8 are only displayed here if the I/O 1 to 4 are configured as
additional sensors.
