3.2 Module Mounting Hardware
Basic iPECS modules can be installed in several different manners:
Desk mounted using the Desk Mount Holder,
Wall mounted individually using the Wall Mount Holder,
19” rack mounted individually using the 1U-Rack Mount Bracket,
Cabinet installed using the Enhanced Main Cabinet, which can be 19” rack,
Desk or Wall mounted, or
The SLTM32 and DTIM24 are both mounted only in a 19” rack and the PSU module may only be
installed in the Main Cabinet.
The following paragraphs describe the mounting hardware for the modules and Main Cabinet
mounting options.
3.2.1 DHLD (Desk Mount Holder) / DHE (Desk Mount Holder Extender)
The DHLD (Module Desk Mount Holder) consists of a pair of “bookends” and DHE (Desk Mount
Holder Extender). One Extender is installed between the bookends for each module, and the
modules mounted between the bookends. The DHLD and DHE are shown in Figure 3.2.1-1.
