7.1.3 LIP-8000/8000E Wall Mount
LIP-8000/8000E series phones incorporate wall mount into the base of the phone housing. Using
the instructions, mount LIP-8000/8000E series phone on the wall. An LIP phone with Consoles
can be Wall Mounted after the Console is properly connected to the LIP phone.
1. Using Figure 7.1.3-1 to mark and drill two (2) 7mm holes for plastic wall anchors.
2. Insert the two (2) anchors into the holes, and insert and tighten two (2) screws leaving
about 2.5 mm (1/8-inch) exposed. If installing an LIP phone with a Console, also drill
anchor holes, insert anchors, and tighten screws for the Console Wall Mount slots.
3. Slide the LIP-8000/8000E phone over the screws and assure the phone is secure. It may
be necessary to remove the phone and tighten or loosen the screws for a secure
mounting.
4. Remove the Handset hook from the phone as shown in the figures below. Reverse the
hook and re-install in LIP-8000/8000E phone so that the hook catches the groove in the
handset receiver.

7.1.4 LIP-9000 Console Installation
The Button kits for LIP-9000 Series phone provide 12, 24, or 48 additional flexible buttons. The
flexible buttons on the Button kit are used as with the flexible buttons on the phone proper and
can be assigned for any of the flexible button functions. One of three Button kits may attach to
LIP-9020, LIP-9030 or LIP-9040 phone, and can be placed on your desktop or can be wall-
mounted with the phone.
The available button kits are shown in Figure 7.1.4-1 below and described as follows.
 LIP-9012 DSS has 12 flexible buttons with tri-color LED. The DSS button kit uses
a paper label for the button designations.
 LIP-9024 DSS has 24 flexible buttons with tri-color LED. The DSS button kit uses
a paper label for the button designations.
 LIP-9024 LSS has 12 flexible buttons with tri-color LED. The LSS button kit uses
