4-28 Keysight B2961A/B2962A User’s Guide, Edition 3
Front Panel Reference
Config key group
Group Only on 2-channel models. Channel grouping ON or OFF.
If this function is ON, the channels perform synchronous
channel operation. The present setting is indicated by an
asterisk on the softkey label.
Save, Recall Saves/recalls all setup information of the B2961A/B2962A. Five storage areas are
available in the built-in non-volatile memory (NVRAM) for this purpose.
Press the Save or Recall softkey to display the softkeys #1, #2, #3, #4, and #5 used
for selecting the storage area. Press a softkey to save or recall the setup information.
Output Connection dialog box
This dialog box provides the following parameters for setting the channel operation
and connection.
Ch Only on 2-channel models. Channel 1 (Ch 1) or
2 (Ch 2)
This field specifies the channel set by this
dialog box.
Sensing Type Sensing type, 2-wire connection (2-WIRE) or
4-wire connection (4-WIRE). Set 4-WIRE for
remote sensing.
Low Terminal State Low sense terminal connection,
grounded (GROUND) or floating (FLOAT)
High Capacitance Mode High capacitance mode, ON or OFF
Set the mode to ON to perform high capacitive
load measurements. See “High Capacitance
Mode” on page 6-17.
Over Voltage/Current Protection Over voltage or current protection, ON or OFF
Set the function ON to turn off the channel
output automatically and immediately when it
reaches its limit.
Output-Off State Output-off state, high impedance (HIGH Z),
normal (NORMAL), or zero volt (ZERO)
This is the source setup condition after output
off. See Table 6-1 on page 6-15.
Auto Output-On Automatic output on function, ON or OFF
