Programming Language
The B2961A/B2962A supports SCPI (Standard Commands for Programmable
Instruments).
Program Memory
Program memory allows you to store long strings of SCPI command lines once into
the B2961A/B2962A's volatile memory and then recall those strings multiple times
while the program is executing using a single SCPI command. By storing the
command strings in memory, the time that would have been spent sending those
same commands over a communication bus is eliminated. For tests that utilize lots
of repeated code (such as subroutines), program memory can dramatically reduce
test times.
• Maximum number of characters of program name: 32 with alphabets, numbers,
hyphens, and underscores
• Maximum memory size: 100 KB (2500 lines typical)
LXI
LXI core conformant. The B2961A/B2962A follows specified LAN protocols and
adhere to LXI requirements such as a built-in Web control server and IVI-COM
driver.

• USB2.0: USB-TMC488 protocol (rear 1)
• GPIB: IEEE-488.2 compliant
