Front Panel Operations
To Set Source Output
To Set Output Range
For details on this function, see “Ranging Mode” on page 6-4 and “Optional
Parameters” on page 4-18.
1. Press the View key to display the Single view.
2. Press the Show Options assist key.
3. Move the field pointer to the Source Ranging field.
4. Press the rotary knob to change the pointer status to EDIT.
5. Press AUTO to set the auto range operation or FIXED to set the fixed range
operation. The pointer status is changed to MOVE.
6. Move the field pointer to the range value setup field (on the right side of the
Source Ranging field).
7. Press the rotary knob to change the pointer status to EDIT.
8. Press an assist key to set the following value.
For the auto range operation: Minimum range of the range operation
For the fixed range operation: Range used for source output
To Set Programmable Output Resistance

1. Press the View key to display the Single view.
2. Press the Show Options assist key.
3. Move the field pointer to the Output R field.
4. Press the rotary knob to change the pointer status to EDIT.
5. Press OFF to disable this function, CONST to set the constant mode, or EMUL
to set the emulation mode. The pointer status is changed to MOVE.
6. For the constant mode:
a. Move the field pointer to the resistance value setup field which is right of the
Output R field.
b. Press the rotary knob to change the pointer status to EDIT.
c. Enter a resistance value. The channel works as a voltage source with built-in
series resistor or a current source with a built-in shunt resistor.
