Trigger key group
Trigger Output Trigger output, ON or OFF
Trigger output terminal, an internal bus (INT1, INT2), LAN
port (LAN), or a digital I/O pin EXTn (n=1 to 14)
If this parameter is ON, B2961A/B2962A sends an output
trigger when it changes the trigger state for the action specified
by the Ch, Layer, and Action parameters. See Figure 6-7 on
page 6-27.
For using a digital I/O pin, it is necessary to set function of the
pin, output trigger polarity, type, pulse width, and so on. See
“DIO Configuration dialog box” on page 4-45 and “Using
Digital I/O” on page 3-37.

AUTO Trigger source best suited for the present operating mode is
automatically selected by the internal algorithms.
BUS Remote interface trigger command such as GET, TRIGger,
and *TRG
TIMER Signal internally generated every interval set by the Period
field
INT1 or INT2 Signal from the internal bus 1 or 2
LAN LXI trigger specified by the
:ARM[:ACQ|:TRAN]:SOUR:LAN and
:TRIG[:ACQ|:TRAN]:SOUR:LAN commands
EXTn Signal from the DIO pin n, which is an I/O port of the Digital
I/O D-sub connector on the rear panel. n=1 to 14
