3.2  Sequencing Hierarchy 
 
3.2.1  Segment 
 
A waveform segment consists of a defined number of samples, which are played, in a 
consecutive order. It is treated as a unit and can be repeated a specified number of 
times or can run continuously. The sample count of segments must be in multiples of 
the segment granularity. A minimum length is also required (see datasheet of the 
instrument).  
A segment can be played standalone (see Arbitrary Mode) or can be part of  
a sequence. 
Multiple segments can be combined to a sequence. A sequence can be executed 
continuously or for a specified number of times.
