Man. calibration
After having preset the fertilizer, it is necessary to carry
out a calibration test in order to assess the real fertilizer
dose supplied.
Preparing the machine:
- Disconnect tube (1) from one of the metering units.
- Position a container (2) underneath the metering unit.
- Open hatch (3).
Checking flow rate:
- Travel a distance of 100 m (328’1’’) for the drive shaft
(1) to rotate 64 times which corresponds to
100 m (328’1’’) linear.
- Weigh and deduct the container weight in order to
assess the quantity collected.
The flow can vary according to the fertilizer
type, the ambient temperature and the
humidity level.
Proceed with regular calibration tests to check
the fertilizer is properly adjusted.
