Restricting the Use of the Machine
This section explains how to restrict the use of the machine by account or the number of sheets available.
Set when Adding an Account (see page 9-55) or Editing and Deleting Accounts (see page 9-57).
The items that can be restricted differ depending on whether [Individual] or [Total] is selected for Copier/Printer Count on
page 9-64.

Applying Restriction
For details on the machine behaves when the counter has reached the limit of restriction, refer to Apply Limit on page 9-64.

Select the item to limit.
Copy Restriction (Total) Limits the total number of sheets used for copying.
Print Restriction (Total) Limits the total number of sheets used for printing.
Scan Restriction (Others) Limits the number of sheets scanned (excludes copying).
FAX TX Restriction*
* This item is displayed when the optional fax kit is installed.
Limits the number of sheets sent by fax.
Print Restriction (Total) Limits the total number of sheets used for copying and printing.
Scan Restriction (Others) Limits the number of sheets scanned (excludes copying).
FAX TX Restriction*
* Only displayed when the optional fax kit is installed.
Limits the number of sheets sent by fax.
Off No restriction given.
Counter Limit Restricts the print counter in one-page increments up to 9,999,999 pages.
Reject Usage Restriction is applied.
