NOTE:
The BBF5 JMPR jumper circuit pack connects signals
between slots of a FUNCTION UNIT group equipped with
27G-U/27G2-U OLIUs. In Group 1 or Group 3 shelves,
BBF5 JMPR circuit packs must be installed in slot 8 of LOW
SPEED groups associated with FUNCTION UNIT groups
that have both slots equipped with 27G-U OLIUs. In Group 1
or Group 3 shelves, BBF5 JMPR circuit packs must be
installed in slots 4 and 8 of LOW SPEED groups associated
with FUNCTION UNIT groups that have both slots equipped
with 27G2-U OLIUs. The BBF5 JMPR circuit pack is not
needed in Group 4 shelves in any application.
Install BBF5 JMPR jumper circuit pack (if required).

NOTE:
OC-3 ring configurations require 22-Type OLIUs. DDM-2000
FiberReach host OC-1 applications require 26G2-U, 27G-U
or 27G2-U OLIUs. DDM-2000 OC-12 applications require
24-Type/29-Type OLIUs.

NOTE:
The 22G-U, 22D-U, 24G-U, 24H-U, 29G-U, 29G2-U, 29H-U,
26G2-U, 27G-U, 27G2-U OLIUs require a 10 dB LBO for
loopback testing. The 22G2-U, 22G3-U, and 22G4-U OLIUs
do not require an LBO for loopback testing.
NOTE:
Unused optical connectors on the 27G-U/27G2-U OLIUs
should remain looped back or use the set-state-oc1:
command to set the state of the unused OC-1 ports to nmon.
