8. Attach the lever block (X) to the No. 1 fly jib
(2) and fly jib base (4) slightly under tension.
CAUTION
Be sure to attach the lever block to prevent
the fly jib from falling.
9. Pull out the linchpin (L), then pull out the
position pins (A1, A2, A3, A4).
10. Grip the handle on the base of the fly jib and
rotate the fly jib slightly in the direction of the
arrow.
11. Use the fly jib remote controller (R) to extend
the boom and align the hole positions (a1,
a2) at the end of the boom with the hole
positions on the fly jib.
WARNING
• Never insert fingers into the pin holes. Align
the hole positions visually.
• Do not use the fly jib remote controller to
adjust the hole positions with the pins
inserted.
12. Insert the position pins (A1, A2) into the
holes (a1, a2). Be sure to insert the position
pins from above and securely lock in place
with the linchpins (L).
