5-64 5/2020 CC1908S-1
WARNING
After inserting the position pins (A1, A2), do
not extend or retract the boom until pin B has
been inserted in the stowage position (4) hole
in step 13. Otherwise, there is a risk of
damaging parts, resulting in the fly jib falling.
13. Remove position pin (B) from the fly jib
stowage position hole (b2), then insert it into
the stowage position (b1) hole.
14. Use the fly jib remote controller (R) to extend
the boom and move the fly jib in the direction
of the arrow until it is detached from stowage
bracket A (21).
WARNING
When moving the fly jib, hold the end of the
fly jib to prevent it from moving suddenly
when it detaches from the stowage bracket.
Operate slowly, checking that the lever
block is attached.
Operate using the fly jib remote controller
while standing on the ground.
15. Rotate the fly jib in the direction of the arrow,
then insert position pin (A4) into the lower
hole (a4). Be sure to insert the pin from
above, and securely lock in place with the
linchpin (L).
WARNING
Be careful of your surroundings and footings
here.
The fly jib remote controller can be attached
to the right side of the boom for
convenience.
16. Use the fly jib remote controller (R) to fully
retract the boom.
17. Remove the lever block (X).
WARNING
Take care when removing the lever block, as
the fly jib will fall if there is no pressure
remaining inside the derricking cylinder.
