16. Pull out position pin (B) from the mounting
position hole (b1), and insert it into the fly jib
stowage position (b2) hole.
WARNING
After inserting position pin (B) into the fly jib
stowage position (b2) hole, be sure to remove
the position pins (A1, A2) in step 17 before
extending or retracting the boom. Otherwise,
there is a risk of damaging parts, resulting in
the fly jib falling.
17. Remove the position pins (A1, A2) from the
holes.
WARNING
Take care here, as the fly jib may move under
its own weight when the pin is removed.
If the pin is difficult to remove, shaking the fly
jib up and down makes it easier to remove.
18. Grip the handle on the base of the fly jib and
rotate the fly jib slightly in the direction of the
arrow.
19. Align the holes in the No. 1 fly jib (2) and
stowage bracket B (22), then insert the
position pin (A1).
20. Use the fly jib remote controller (R) to fully
retract the boom.
21. Insert the position pins (A2, A3, A4) into the
holes. Be sure to insert the position pins
from above and securely lock in place with
the linchpins (L).
