M A E D A Crawler Crane 6.16 INSPECTION
5/2020 CC1908S-1 6-33
2.
Turn the starter switch to the "ON" position,
and check the fuel level gauge on the monitor
panel.
After inspection, return the starter switch to
the "OFF" position.
3.
If the fuel is low, replenish the fuel as follows.
• Fuel tank rated capacity: 150 L
1. Open the left cover.
2. Open the oil inlet cap (F) on the top of the
fuel tank and refuel via the oil inlet opening
until the float gauge (G) rises to the
highest position.
3. Securely close the oil inlet cap (F).
If the breather hole (3) of the cap
becomes clogged, the pressure in the
tank will decrease (becoming a negative
pressure) and the fuel may not flow out.
Clean the hole occasionally.
4. Close the left cover.
[4] Hydraulic oil tank oil level
inspection/refilling
WARNING
• Parts and oil will be hot immediately after
the engine stops, so there is a risk of burn
injuries.
Wait until the temperature drops before
starting the work.
• Securely close the tank cap after refilling the
oil.
IMPORTANT
• For details on the oil used, refer to "6.5.1
USE OF FUEL AND LUBRICATING OIL
DEPENDING ON TEMPERATURE" on P.
6-11.
• Be sure to arrange the machine in its
travelling posture when checking the oil
level. Checking the oil level while in the
working posture will result in overfilling
since the oil in the cylinders will not have
returned to the tank.
For details on the travelling posture, refer to
"5.3.2 MACHINE TRAVELLING POSTURE"
on P. 5-15.
• Be careful to avoid allowing any foreign
matter into the oil inlet opening when
replenishing the oil.
1.
Stop the machine on a level surface.
2.
Stow the hook block in the simple stowage
position, and arrange the machine in its
travelling posture with the boom fully
retracted and fully lowered} as shown in the
figure.
When mounting the fly jib, set the fly jib angle
to 0 degrees and fully retract it.
Raise the blade from the ground if attached.
