• Antifreeze is flammable, so keep it away from flame.
• Antifreeze is toxic. When open the drain valve, be careful not to get water containing antifreeze
on you. If it gets in your eyes, flush your eyes with large amount of fresh water and see a
doctor at ones.
• When changing the coolant or draining the coolant from the radiator before carrying out
repairs, ask a specialist company to handle any coolant containing antifreeze, or contact us or
our sales service agency. Antifreeze is toxic, so never pour it into drainage water ditches or
drain onto the ground surface.
• Always use tap water for coolant. Contact Maeda or our sales service agency if river water, well
water, or water through the small water-supply system is necessarily substituted for tap water.
• A mixing ratio of antifreeze is to be controlled by the concentration meter.
• Prepare a container with a capacity of at least 15 liter to catch the coolant.
• Have a water filling hose available.
1. Stop the machine on level ground and stop the engine.
2. Remove undercover (1) and then put a container in position to
catch the coolant.
3. Remove 2 covers (2) between the hydraulic tank and operator’s
cab and then put a container in position to catch the coolant.
4. Check that the coolant temperature has gone down enough to
make it possible to touch the radiator cap surface by hand, then
turn radiator cap (3) slowly until it contacts the stopper to release
the pressure.
5. Following this, push radiator cap (3), turn it until it contacts the
stopper, then remove it.
6. Open drain valve (4) at the bottom of the radiator and drain the
water.
