3.25.3 PICK & CARRY OPERATION
• Refer to "Operation 3.25.1 Safety Precautions for Pick and Carry Operation" and always take
care for the safety operation as provided.
• Crane operations during traveling are strictly prohibited. The machine may overturn.
• Always be seated in the operator's compartment during a pick and carry operation and
exercise it most carefully.
• Prior to start travelng, check around the machine to assure the safety and toot the horn.
• Before shifitng the direction to forward or backward, or changing the lane, check around the
machine to assure the safety and toot the horn.
• Always keep the engine speed low to provide slow and cautious traveling.
Always keep sufficient distances away from other machines or structures so that collision of
the machine or hoisted laod is avoided.
1. Refer to "Operation 3.8 Start/Moving/Stopping Machine" and "Operation 3.9 Steering Machine" for
traveling the machine.
2. Refer to "Operation 3.18 Hook Raising/Lowering Operation" and "Operation 3.19 Boom Derricking
Operation" for crane operation. In this operation, keep the hoisted load at the height almost touching the
ground to prevent it shaking.
When the moment limiter auto-stop is triggered, a recovery operation is required as described in
"Operation 2.4.3 [2] Recovery Operation after Auto Stop".
3.25.4 RELEASING PICK & CARRY OPERATION POSTURE
1. Refer to "Operation 3.8 Start and Stop Traveling" and
"Operation 3.11 Parking" and park the machine accordingly.
2. Press the Pick and Carry/Stationary Mode Select Switch (1) in
the moment limiter.
The operation mode is set to "Stationary Mode" and
"STATIONARY" LED (3) lights.
3. Refer to "Operation 3.7 Machine Traveling Posture" and change
the machine to the traveling posture.
