During the Fly-jib operations, always keep the boom angle in the range as specified below:
[At a Fly-jib angle in 0 or 20 degrees]
Perform the crane operation in the boom angle range of "45 degrees" or more. When a load is
hoisted in a condition that the boom angle is less than "45 degrees" and the boom length is
"5.3m" or longer, the moment limiter emits a warning signal, the buzzer sounds intermittently,
and hook hoisting, boom telescoping and boom lowering operations automatically stop.
However, when the boom length is less than "5.3m", the moment limiter does not emit a
warning signal. In a condition where the boom angle is less than "45 degrees", boom lowering
operation is not available unless the boom length is less than "5.3m".
[At a Fly-jib angle in 40 or 60 degrees]
Perform the crane operation in the boom angle range of "65 degrees" or more. When a load is
hoisted in a condition that the boom angle is less than "65 degrees" and the boom length is
"5.3m" or longer, the moment limiter emits a warning signal, the buzzer sounds intermittently,
and hook hoisting, boom telescoping and boom lowering operations automatically stop.
However, when the boom length is less than "5.3m", the moment limiter does not emit a
warning signal. In a condition where the boom angle is less than "65 degrees", boom lowering
operation is not available unless the boom length is less than "5.3m".
