• Parking the machine on the firm, level ground. Avoid parking the machine on slopes. If it is
unavoidably necessary to park the machine on a slope, put blocks under the tracks and dig the
blade into the ground surface to stop the machine from moving.
• If the control levers are touched by accident, the machine may move suddenly, and this may
lead to a serious accident. Before standing up from the operator’s seat, always set the lock
lever securely to the LOCK position.
• Set the blade to downward of the slope and lower it to touch the ground.
1. Stop the machine.

2. Turn fuel control dial (1) to low idling position (MIN) and lower
the engine speed.
3. Operate blade control lever forward, and lower the blade to the
ground.
4. Set lock lever (2) to LOCK position (L) and stop the engine. For
