6.2.2 CHANGING OF FLY-JIB TILT ANGLE TO STOWAGE POSITION
To return the Fly-jib to the stowage position, follow the instructions below:
1. Set the attached lever block (23) between the tilt angle
adjuster outer rod (5) and inner rod (6).
Lever block (23) handling will be easier, when you set the lever
side to the outer rod side (5).
2. Wind up the lever block (23) to narrow the gap between outer
rod (5) and inner rod (6), then raise the No.1 Fly-jib (2), and
match the hole (6) of the inner rod for the Fly-jib stowage and the
hole of the outer rod (5).
• To return the Fly-jib to the stowage position from 40 or 60
degrees, lift up the No.2 Fly-jib (3) tip when the lever block (23)
winding becomes harder.
• When the Fly-jib is raised to a certain degree, perform the
boom lowering operation so that the lever block is handled in a
lower location.
3. When the hole of the inner rod (6) for Fly-jib stowage and the
hole of the outer rod (5) match, insert the position pin (7) to the
holes and insert the linchpin (25). When inserted, ensure the
ring to be turned to lock it.
After the Fly-jib is returned to its stowage position, ensure that the moment limiter display
indicates as follows:
• "- - -“ is flashing in each of the Actual load display, Rated total load display, Working radius
display, Rated radius display and Fly-jib angle display.
• Wire falls LEDs and Load capacity LEDs are flashing.
