When the Fly-jib is installed to the boom tip and its tilt angle is set to 0 degree or more from its
stowage position, the machine is configured to the following operating conditions:
• The rated total load value is switched to the Fly-jib mode in the Moment limiter.
• When the Fly-jib tilt angle is set to 0 or 20 degrees, load hoisting operation is not available
where the boom angle is "45 degrees" or less. The moment limiter emits an over-load warning.
• When the Fly-jib tilt angle is set to 40 or 60 degrees, load hoisting operation is not available
where the boom angle is "65 degrees" or less. The moment limiter emits an over-load warning.
• The winch is fixed to low speed mode.
• The number of wire falls selection button is not valid during Fly-ib operation hence the number
of wire falls is fixed to single fall mode.
When the Fly-jib is stowed to the side of the Main boom, the
operation mode of the crane is provided as follows:
• The rated total load value is switched to the main boom
mode in the Moment limiter.
• The number of wire falls selection button is valid now; the
number of wire falls is optional.
