A fusible link refers to the large-sized fuse wiring installed in the high current flow portion of the
circuit to protect electrical components and wiring from burning, in the same way as an
ordinary fuse.
• If a fusible link has melt down, always check the cause in the circuit and repair the problem
before changing the fusible link.
• Always use a fusible link of the same capacity when replacing one.
If any of the following problems have occurred, there is probably a
disconnection in the fusible link. Open the battery room door on the
left side of the machine, and check and replace.
• If the starter motor does not turn even when the starter switch is
turned to the START position, there is probably a disconnection in
the fusible link (1).
• If the battery is discharged, there is probably a disconnection in
the fusible link (2).
• In cold weather, if the starter switch is turned to the HEAT
position and preheating is carried out, but the engine is difficult to
start, there is probably a disconnection in fusible link (3).
