7. Fix shackles to 2 brackets in the left and right sides of the crane
frame, then attach the slinging wire ropes.
NOTES
Apply appropriate pads to the locations in which the slinging wire
rope may touch the machine, prior to lifting up.
8. Lift the machine slowly.
NOTES
After the machine comes off the ground, check the hook
condition and the lifting posture, and then lift slowly.
Verify that there is no posture change caused by the leakage
from the hydraulic circuit on the derricking cylinder head side
when the machine is hoisted.
When the machine in the standard configuration is lifted up, it
leans about 3 degrees backward and about 3 degrees to the
operator's compartment side. Such angle of leaning may
slightly vary in accordance with the boom angle and remaining
fuel.
When the machine in the fly-jib configuration is lifted up, it leans
about 2 degrees to the backward and about 1.5 degrees to the
operator's compartment side. Such angle of leaning may
slightly vary in accordance with the boom angle and remaining
fuel.
