Requirements and recommendations regarding operation
and use of Grove Cranes are stated on decals and in this
Operator Manual and other manuals provided with each
specific model machine.
The crane owner must make sure that all personnel working
on and around the crane are properly trained and thoroughly
familiar with operational functions of the crane and safe
operating and work practices. Personnel should be
thoroughly familiar with regulations and standards governing
cranes and their operation. Work practices may vary slightly
between government regulations, industry standards, local
and job-site rules and employer policies so a thorough
knowledge of and compliance with all relevant work rules is
necessary.
