8 PRESENTATION
The AVIOR-2/AVIOR-2 I/O and MIP-2/MIP-2 I/O are new multi-function portable polyradiameters with
dose rate alarms, or count rate based on the connected probe. The wide range of probes associated
with it covers many applications.
The AVIOR-2/AVIOR-2 I/O and the MIP-2/MIP-2 I/O differ in the type of probe used:
2 CSP probes for AVIOR/AVIOR-2 I/O,
1 CSP type probe and 1 Nardeux type probe for MIP-2/MIP-2 I/O.
The AVIOR-2/AVIOR-2 I/O and MIP-2/MIP-2 I/O are ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable)
Portable Radiation Protection Measurement Platforms, which:
Measure dose equivalent flow rates,
Measure contaminations,
Connect probes,
Connect PC for an update or data transfer.
The AVIOR-2 I/O or MIP-2 I/O differs from AVIOR-2 or MIP-2 by:
x Delays digital alarms and measurement data (RS485),
x 24 VDC power supply,
x Audio output jack.
Their ergonomics allow easy use; they also have visual and audible alarms. Two different simulated
sounds are emitted to differentiate two transmitter types.
Their built-in LCD screen is bright enough for any type of environment even very bright.
