16.1 BACKUP AND DATA CONSULTATION ON COMPUTER
LOG files can be viewed and exported directly to a computer using the Microsoft Windows © file
explorer.
1. Using the USB / mini USB cable, connect the AVIOR-2 or MIP-2 to the computer.
2. Select the function « Connect to a PC » (Refer to § 14.1).
The AVIOR-2 or MIP-2 appears in the file explorer as an external storage device named
« MIP_AVIOR ».
The LOG files are stored in the « LOG » directory, at the root of the « MIP_AVIOR » device.
16.2 SAVE ON USB KEY
The features of the USB key for backup must be:
x Formatting in FAT12, FAT16 or FAT32
x Size up to 8GB
: A large number of files and directories may slow down the AVIOR-2 / MIP-2.
16.2.1 Export LOG files
To export Log files to a USB key:
Using the USB female / mini USB cable, connect the USB flash drive to the AVIOR-2 or MIP-2.1.
Select the « Connect to a key » function (refer to § 14.2).2.
Press the or key to start the export.3.
Note: The line « Export logs » is selected by default. If necessary press the or keys
to select the line.
Press the key or to display the LOG folders.4.
