11.2 POWER ON
The power is turned on by pressing the keyboard button .
During the start-up phase, the system initializes, a sound signal is generated, the software version is
displayed at the bottom of the screen, the interface 1 and interface 2 LEDs light up according to the red,
green and blue colour cycle then go off and the relays follow a cycle of activation and deactivation.
The AVIOR-2 and the MIP-2 offer 4 measurement modes:
Direct measurement (default mode at start-up),
Counting scale,
Screening,
Hand / Foot
Note: At start-up the last measurement mode used before shutdown is automatically started.
AVIOR-2 and MIP-2 have 3 user levels:
x Administrator, user and system manager, with an increased knowledge of metrology.
x Technician, person who uses the system and has a metrological culture.
x Operator, person who uses the system and has no particular knowledge of metrology.
Note: The last user connected before shutdown is used at start-up and is asked to enter the
associated password. In case of failure the « Operator » profile is loaded.
