ETTING STARTED VOICE SERVICES
Check that the cables are tightly connected to the phone and to the wall jack. The phone should automat-
ically detect when it is reconnected and remove the Network Disconnected prompt from the screen.
However, if changes have been made to your phone’s network settings, you may need to restart your
phone. Check with your System or Network Administrator for assistance.
For more information about connecting your phone, see the Mitel 6920 IP Phone Installation Guide.
NOTE: If the phone displays a No Service status message you can still use the phone but note that it is
not registered with the Registrar. For more information about registering your phone, contact your System
Administrator.
Voice Services
Voice Services can be configured on Mitel 6920 SIP phones to provide remote workers access to the
same rich communication capabilities as provided to in-office workers.
After the initial boot-up of the SIP phone, a Voice Services screen auto-prompts the user to select an
appropriate service.
NOTE: After a factory default, if the phone is configured through Web UI reboot message is displayed on
the Web UI and the phone reboots in the configured environment.
The user can select from one of the following service options:
