USTOMIZING YOUR PHONE AUDIO
NOTE:
1. If a headset is not connected and the user presses the speaker/headset key, the phone goes to
speaker mode regardless of the audio mode.
2. If a headset is not connected and the user presses programmable key, the phone goes to speaker
mode regardless of the audio mode.
Configuring the Audio Mode Using the IP Phone UI
1. Press on the phone to enter the Options List.
2. Navigate to the Audio > Audio Mode option and press the select button or Select softkey.
3. Use the up and down navigation keys to scroll through and highlight the desired audio mode. Valid
values are:
Speaker (default)
Headset
Speaker/Headset
Headset/Speaker
4. Press the Save softkey to save your changes.
Headset
The Headset option allows you to:
set the volume level for the headset microphone (if supported)
enable or disable DHSG.
enable USB Wireless mode when a USB Wireless headset is connected to the phone

1. Press on the phone to enter the Options List.
2. Navigate to the Audio > Headset option and press the select button or Select softkey.
