About SMB Controller
Note:
To install or remove Interface or DSP cards, power down the system, and unplug the
power cord. Follow the proper Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) precautions. Ensure
the chassis is grounded, see Earthing (Grounding) the SMB Controller. Wait three
minutes before touching the hardware. For more details see, Installing the Interface
and DSP Cards.
Some SMB Controller hardware information are as follows:
•
The SMB Controller has an Equipment ID (EID) that is hard coded on the Processor Board.
•
Four optional expansion interface cards can be installed.
•
The number of supported Users, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Channels, and Voice
Mail / Auto Attendant Ports depends on the number of DSP Cards in the system.
