Step 3 : By using the [UP] or [DOWN] key select an appropriate value.
Step 4 : Press the [ENTER] key to confirm.
Notes
To cancel the changes of the parameter, press the [CANCEL] key. The display will show the previous
value for the parameter.
When you press the [EXIT] key the changed value will be ignored and you go back to the previous menu.
Notes
The laser speed has nothing to do with the speed of measuring a frame.
4.2.8. Tool-up Speed
Tool-up movements are mostly long movements (which reach their maximum speed) between the short tool-
down movements. These movements could cause abrupt media transport (which could cause tracking
problems). Therefore, it is recommended to select a tool-up speed lower than the speed selection in the
menu.
Notes
In case the Tool-up speed is higher than the speed. The Tool-up speed will be set automatically to the
value of the speed.
Notes
The tool-down speed is related to the value selected in the speed menu.
You can change the tool-up speed in the menu.
To change the Tool-up Speed, please follow the instructions mentioned below:
Step 1 : In the general setting select ‘Tool-up Speed’ by using the [UP] or [DOWN] key.
Step 2 : Press the [ENTER] key to confirm your selection. The actual Tool-up Speed value will now be
shown on the display

New : 100
In cm/s
Step 3 : By using the [UP] or [DOWN] key select an appropriate value.
Step 4 : Press the [ENTER] key to confirm.
