5.6.2. Quality check
Step 1 : Load some vinyl (cut-sheet or roll) into the cutter.
Step 2 : Make sure that a knife tool is selected.
Step 3 : Make sure that a knife with well adjusted depth is mounted into the tool head.
Step 4 : If you have not yet performed the offset adjustment routine for the current knife and/or vinyl, first
perform this routine in order to obtain perfect quality.
Step 5 : Press the [TEST] key. The display will show the following message.
Testplot :
Quality check
→ SC-850 or SC-1400
Choose testfile
Step 6 : By pressing the [UP] or [DOWN] key select “Quality check”.
Step 7 : Press the [ENTER] key to confirm.
Notes
If you do not want to perform the test, press the [EXIT] key.
Step 8 : The Ultima will cut a picture. Check the patterns. Especially look for good quality of the corners
and easy weeding. If this is not the case readjust the Ultima cutting plotter.
5.6.3. Knife offset → Test
