4.2.15. Emulation selection
Your cutter is able to understand different graphic languages. These languages are MHGL, MHGL/2, HPGL
and HPGL/2.
To change the graphic language, please follow the instructions mentioned below.
Step 1 : In the general setting select “Emulation” with the [UP] or [DOWN] key
Step 2 : Press the [ENTER] key to confirm your selection. The actual graphic languages will now be
shown on the display

New : HPGL2

Step 3 : By pressing the [UP] or [DOWN] key select the appropriate graphic languages.
Notes
To cancel the changes of the parameter, press the [CANCEL] key. The display will show the previous
value for the parameter.
When you press the [EXIT] key the changed value will be ignored and you go back to the previous menu.
Step 4 : Press the [ENTER] key to confirm and go back to the previous menu.
4.2.16. Program Step selection
Select 0.025 or 0.010 mm. Factory default is 0.025 mm. Some cutting software packages use 0.010 mm. If
the plot unit is not set correctly, all your cutting jobs will be cut 2.5 times too large or too small.
Notes
Please note that some software packages use the “step per mm” terminology, in which case a program
step of 0.025 mm corresponds with 40 steps per mm and a program step of 0.010 mm with 100 steps per
mm.
Contour cutting supports only 0.010 mm program step.

Step 2 : Press the [ENTER] key to confirm your selection. The actual program step will now be shown on
the display
