MOTORCYCLE SET-UP ADJUSTMENT
Place the motorcycle on the rear stand.
Special tool no. 800092642
WARNING: The following adjustments must
be made when the fuel tank is full.
Insert the setting-up arm (1) of the rear suspension
(special tool) in its appropriate seats as shown in the
figure.

Raise the rear part of the motorcycle until the full
extension of the rear shock absorber is reached.
Contemporaneously measure the distance X
1
between
the upper extremity of the rear stand and the point on
the setting-up arm shown in the figure.
Two persons must carry out this opera-
tion.
Check that dimension X1 is equal to:
- F4 S / FT / R MY12 / F4 MY13: X
1
= 218 mm
- F4 RR MY12 / F4 R MY13: X
1
= 222 mm
- F4 RR MY13: X
1
= 225 mm

NOTE
Should X

be different from the reference dimension,
loosen rear suspension half linkage fixing counternuts
(2).
