Syntax gpon
Context config>port
Description This command enters the context to perform GPON port configuration.
Default n/a
slid
Syntax slid {alphanumeric | hex} slid
no slid
Context config>port>gpon
Description This command configures a permanent Subscriber Location ID (SLID). SLIDs can be
configured in decimal, alphanumeric or hexadecimal format, but the SLID will always be
displayed in hexadecimal format.
The no form of the command reverts to the default.
Default 44:45:46:41:55:4C:54:00:00:00 / “DEFAULT”
Parameters alphanumeric — configures the SLID using up to 10 decimal or alphanumeric
characters
hex — configures the SLID using up to 20 hexadecimal numbers, separated by colons
or dashes in the form aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff:gg:hh:ii:jj or aa-bb-cc-dd-ee-ff-gg-hh-ii-jj
slid — sets the Subscriber Location ID in the chosen format
