Refer to table 7-4 on page 83 for detailed information on the parameters.
The parameters I-pn and I-sn are mandatory parameters. Test execution is not possible if no data
are specified for such parameters. All other parameters are assigned with default values and have
to be adapted accordingly.
4. Start the test by pressing the key. The red LED flashes to indicate that the CT test is running.
5. CT Analyzer performs a wiring check. A corresponding message is displayed if the wiring is not
correct. If necessary, correct your wiring and press the Cont. Test soft key to execute the CT test.

6. CT Analyzer executes the CT test and measures the winding resistance, the excitation curve and
the ratio.
7. "Test finished" message
When the test is over, the red LED stops flashing and the green LED is on. CT Analyzer displays a
"Test finished" message showing the status of the test execution (see Figure 4-5). Press any key on
the keyboard to close this message.

Parameter Description
I-pn Rated primary current.
I-sn Rated secondary current.
Standard Standard according to which the test has to be performed.
f Rated frequency of the CT.
P/M CT type. Set "P" for a protection CT or "M" for a metering CT.
Class Rated accuracy class of the CT.
