e. Press the UI Knob to clear the alarm.
f. Set the Minute Ventilation Alarm setting to Off.
Loss of Input Power Alarm Test
a. While the device is still operating, disconnect the power cord from the device.
b. Verify that a Loss of Input Power alarm sounds.
c. Reconnect power to stop the alarm.
8.3 MANUAL SOFTWARE TESTING
This procedure must be performed after:
The device has been repaired and
The Real-time Clock has been calibrated.
NOTE
When testing is complete, and before patient use, adjust the device to the
appropriate patient settings.
