6 Manual cooking

Never use high-percentage alcohol for cooking. Alcohol vapours and oxygen form explosive mixtures.
There is a risk of explosion and burns.
1. Never cook with high-percentage alcohol.
2. Never flame in the cooking system.
With the manual modes, the iVario supports you in your personal craftmanship.
When selecting the mode, you select whether you want to boil, fry or deep-fry the food. Then you set the pan
temperature and cooking time and make all the necessary decisions yourself. This gives you control to ensure the
food is cooked exactly as you want it.

6.1 Conditions, information and warnings
Before you start a cooking process or while you are cooking food, the same information as in intelligent cooking

6.2 Adjusting cooking result to own requirements
6.2.1 Cooking parameters
Temperature
With this cooking parameter, you can set the temperature to which cooking liquids or food in cooking liquids are
to be heated.
Cooking time
With this cooking parameter, you can set the time in which the food will reach the desired cooking result. If you
have set the cooking time, the core temperature cooking parameter will not be available.
Alternatively, you can let your unit run uninterrupted with the settings you apply. To do this, switch on continuous
operation.
