7.5 Pressure cooking food
DANGER
Risk of scalding and burns when pressure cooking with alcohol
The system is designed for pressure cooking with water. If you pressure cook food in liquids whose boiling
point is lower than that of water, such as alcohol, when you unlock the pan lid, the hot liquid can vaporise or
spray out of the pan together with the food at high speed. This could cause severe scalding or burns.
1. When pressure cooking, only use water as the cooking liquid.
2. Always wear your personal protection equipment.

3. To cook food with the cooking time, press the button:

5. To cook the food with the core temperature, press the button:

7. Load the unit.
8. To confirm the action, press the button:
9. Close the pan lid. WARNING!Make sure that the pan edge is clean and that there are no objects between
the pan and the pan lid. If the pan lid does not close properly, pressure cooking cannot be started or hot
steam will escape during the pressure cooking.
10. Press the button WARNING!If you lock the pan lid, there is a risk of crushing fingers and hands. Keep
your distance from the unit while the pan lid is locked.
> The pan lid is locked. Pressure builds up inside the pan. When the set cooking time has passed or the set core
temperature has been reached, the pressure in the pan reduces.
11. Press the button
> The pan lid is unlocked and the cooking path is ended. NOTICE!Open the pan lid when prompted. If you do
not open the pan lid when prompted, a vacuum may form inside the pan, which means that you can no longer
open the pan lid.
