temperature value is sensed by the echosounder. The RATE of CHANGE
alarm will activate if the temperature value changes by more than the

vertical cursor appears on the temperature graph
line. The cursor can be positioned to any point of
interest along the temperature line with the
left/right direction keys. At the same time, another
TRACEIV
cursor appears on “own ships” trackline
on the PLOT screen. This
TRACER”
cursor moves
along the ship’s trackline, tracing the temperature
graph points in synchronization with the vertical
TEMP
cursor.
While the cursors are operated,a softkeyindicator
‘TRACE
DATA”appears
above the temperature graph box. When
theI-
IE]softkey
is pressed, the temperature point information appears
on-
screen in a temporary window for about 14 seconds. The Tracer Data
displayed includes the L/L position, bearing and distance from own ship,
depth, and the temperature value of the temperature point.
While the ~~~~window

changes to read
TRACEGOTO”.Ifthe
softkeyvGOTO(ispressed
during
this time, that temperature point instantly becomes selected as your next
destination to enable navigation back to selected temperature point. The
waypoint
number, bearing and range at the top of the screen change to show
the steering information to the new waypoint.
