Calibration

a To insert the URISYS 2400 calibration strip
1 Open the strip waste container door.
2 Remove the strip waste container.
3 Remove the TS transfer base and place it on the lab desk.
4 Raise the holding grid.
5 Take a calibration strip out of the vial and position it on the TS transfer
base as indicated above.
Make sure that the feet of the strip are locked in the correct place, the
middle foot being set to the end of the slit.
6 Lower the holding grid.
7 Insert the TS transfer base smoothly to its end position and ensure that it is
positioned correctly. Turn the screw on the transfer base until it locks to
secure the base.
8 Insert the strip waste container.
9 Close the strip waste container door.
Be aware that the TS transfer base, strip waste container and liquid tank may be
contaminated with potentially biological hazardous material. Always wear gloves
when handling these parts.
