Frame Boards
The frame performs all the video routing and
manipulation of the switcher and consists of a chassis
with a midplane into which all the frame boards are
installed. Boards are installed into both the front and the
rear of the frame.
Frame CPU
• Part Number: 4810AR-002
The Frame CPU is the central processing until for the
switcher and handles all high-level control functions, as
well as manage any global resources. The RAM CACHE
for the Global-Store is located on this board.
Video Input
• Part Number: 4810AR-060
The Video Input board passes all the input video sources
to the switcher.
MultiProcessor Input
• Part Number: 4810AR-063
The MultiProcessor Input board provides initial video
conversion on input video sources coming into the
switcher.
12G MultiProcessor Input
• Part Number: 4810AR-065
The 12G MultiProcessor Input board supports UHDTV1
(3840×2160) 59.94Hz and 50Hz in quad link UHD-2SI
(3Gb/s and 12Gb/s) and UHD-QSD for input processing
and conversion.
Video Output
• Part Number: 4810AR-064A
The Video Output board provides the nal video
processing and output of the video sources from the
switcher. Some options, like AuxKey, are generated on
the this board.
12G Output
• Part Number: 4810AR-066
The 12G Output board supports UHDTV1 (3840×2160)
59.94Hz and 50Hz in quad link UHD-2SI (3Gb/s and
12Gb/s) and UHD-QSD for output processing and
conversion.
8RU Crosspoint and 4RU Crosspoint
• Part Number: 4810AR-020 and 4410AR-020
The 8RU Crosspoint and 4RU Crosspoint board performs
all the video routing in the switcher, connecting video
sources to buses and the desired output.
3G Video Processor
• Part Number: 4800AR-043A
The 3G Video Processor board does all of the video
processing, including the integrated 2D-DVE effects
engine, and the XFX Extra Effects engine. The 3D-DVE
effects engine installs onto this board.
Reference with Tally
• Part Number: 4810AR-061
The Reference with Tally board does passes the external
video reference to the switcher as well as providing
addition GPIs, frame based tallies, and contact closures.
