1. Double-press the crosspoint button for the video
source that you want to override. This can be on an
ME or an Aux Bus.
2. Press SmartConversion.
3. Select the video format by pressing the associated
button. If the video format is not displayed, press
Input is Other Type and use the Type knob to
select the video format.
Switching Field
The switching eld is the eld in an interlaced video
format that the switcher uses to transition from one video
source to another. An interlaced video format is made
up of two elds, eld 1 (odd lines) and eld 2 (even
lines).
To Set the Switching Field
1. Press HOME > Setup > Installation > Output >
More.
2. Toggle Switch on to select between eld 1 (F1)
or eld 2 (F2) as the switching eld.
• F1 — transitions are performed after the odd
eld of the source video is drawn.
• F1 — transitions are performed after the even
eld of the source video is drawn.
3. Press HOME > Confirm.
