Installation
1. Make sure the SE-3 Patroller is powered off,
unplugged, and the parking brake is engaged.
2. Using a 2.5 mm hex wrench and two fasteners, install
the Charge Port (IEC Socket) onto the Bib Panel.
Torque to 1.6 N-m (1.2 ft-lbf).
NOTICE
Make sure the IEC socket is aligned correctly.
3. Slide the connector block onto the back of the
KeyLock. Pull on it to verify that it is locked in place.
4. If necessary, connect the two quick connect
terminals to the KeyLock (Figure 11).

5. Slide the rubber protector over the connector block
and secure with a cable tie. See Figure 9.
6. Connect the two quick connect terminals to the
Accessory Power Outlet (Figure 10).

7. Slide the Bib Panel onto the frame.
8. Using a 4 mm hex wrench, install the eight fasteners
as shown in Figure 7.
Torque the upper two fasteners to 4.0 N-m
(3.0 ft-lbf).
Torque the lower six fasteners to 5.5 N-m (4.0 ft-lbf).
9. Check the Glove Box Lock Plate alignment (see
Figure 13). When the Glove Box lock is turned, there
should be some friction between the pawl and the
Lock Plate. The weather stripping around the Glove
Box Door should compress slightly.
Torqe the Lock Plate fastener to 1.6 N-m (1.2 ft-lbf).
10. Install the following components:
a. Storage Trays (page 13)
b. Battery Module (page 8)
11. Perform post-service tests (page 127).
