Headlight
The Headlight rests on an adjustable bracket behind the
Windshield.
Tools Required: 3 mm hex wrench
Wire cutters
Torque wrench
Removal
1. Make sure the SE-3 Patroller is powered off,
unplugged, and the parking brake is engaged.
2. Remove the following components:
a. Battery Module (page 8)
b. Storage Trays (page 13)
c. Bib Panel (page 14)
d. Glove Box (page 16)
e. Front Cowl (page 17)
f. Windshield (page 32)
3. Disconnect the harness. See Figure 39.
4. Remove the two cable ties.
5. Using a 3 mm hex wrench, remove the two fasteners
as shown in Figure 38.
6. Remove the Headlight.
Installation
1. Make sure the SE-3 Patroller is powered off,
unplugged, and the parking brake is engaged.
2. Slide the Headlight harness through the hole in the
bracket.
3. Using a 3 mm hex wrench, attach the headlight to the
bracket as shown in Figure 38.
Torque to 1.6 N-m (1.2 ft-lbf).
4. Connect the Harness. See Figure 39.
5. Install two cable ties.
6. Align the Headlight (page 35).
7. Install the following components:
a. Windshield (page 32).
b. Front Cowl (page 17)
c. Glove Box (page 16)
d. Bib Panel (page 14)
e. Storage Trays (page 13)
f. Battery Module (page 8)
8. Perform post-service tests (page 127).
