Step by Step
The Menu key opens the menu for selecting one of the
other applications and creating the softkey for quick ac-
cess to other applications.
If the Status information softkey is displayed, system
messages have been received (flashing light = unread
messages). Click on the question mark to read the
message(s).
Using the touchscreen keypad softkey, you can enter
characters via the display ((Æ page 157).
Configuring the applications Corporate, Web
access and Programs requires additional knowl-
edge not covered in this manual. For any ques-
tions, please consult your service personnel.
The current displays in the Telephone application
and in the other applications are mutually inde-
pendent.
This means that if you are in the Personal Direc-
tory, for example, and the display changes to the
Telephone application because you have accept-
ed an incoming call, the display that was active
before you accepted the call reappears when you
change back to the Personal Directory.

always assume that the status of the relevant ap-
plication is idle. If the status is unspecified when
the application is activated, press "Cancel", "Exit"
or "Menu" until the relevant idle status appears.
