DNS
Abbreviation for "Domain Name System".
Internet service for converting spoken address names
into Æ IP addresses.
ENB

FTP
Abbreviation for "File Transfer Protocol".
Used to transfer files in networks, for example, to load

HFA
Abbreviation for "Hicom Feature Access".
Sets up the connection between Æ IP telephony and a

HG 3530).
HTTP
Abbreviation for "Hypertext Transfer Protocol".
Protocol for transferring data in Æ IP networks.
IP
Abbreviation for "Internet Protocol".
IP address
Also known as "Æ IP". Unique address of a terminal in
the network. It consists of four sets of period-separated
numbers between 0 and 255. To simplify notation, spo-
ken names can be converted into IP addresses by a
