DIP switches (S501)
The DIP switches (S501) on the device are used to set the PROFIBUS address of the DP slave.

Setting the address
The individual DIP switches 1 to 7 (④) are used to specify the address. DIP switch 8 (③) is
reserved.
Addresses within the range from 0 to 127 can be set with combinations of the seven DIP switches
(①, ②). The addresses are coded according to BCD code (Binary Coded Decimal).
Note
A DP slave address change only becomes eective after a power-on reset or system restart.
